COLOR PATINA: This knife is special. The maker high polished the Damascus blade first. Instead of burning the sides of the blade with ACID, they heated the blade in a special oven at a certain temperature and turned the sides of the Damascus blade Golden-Pink. This Patina will last a lifetime on the surface of the blade as long as you do not polish it off or dip the blade in acid. The patina-color is beautiful and shows off the layers of the steel magnificently.
